2017 Early Head Start Home Base Program began @ West Central Community Services, Inc.

We are excited to be able to provide this service to our community!

Early Head Start will be available to Knox, Warren and Henderson Counties families with children birth to three years of age.

​

Services provided include:

• Weekly 1 1/2 hour visits in your home with a parent/child educator

•  Prenatal support and education for expecting mothers

•  Parenting and discipline information and support

•  Developmentally appropriate activities for you to do with your child

•  Demonstrations of how materials in your own home can be used for learning activities

•  Help in securing other services including social, physical & dental health, and nutrition

•  Parent/child activity groups twice a month where you can meet other families

•  Opportunities to participate in committees

•  Support in building your confidence in being a parent

•  Support in helping your child get a successful start in life
